Homework: Students at New Leaf boarding school for girls should generally expect 1.0 to 1.5 hours of homework each evening. Study halls are held four days each week. Teachers are available to assist with homework in any given subject area for an hour each school day, and tutorial help is always available.
Testing: Scheduling for any necessary standardized achievement tests (i.e. SSAT - Secondary Schools Admissions Test, etc.) is done through the academic program. Students are also administered the Stanford Achievement Test each spring. Academic staff provides interpretations of scores to parents, consultants and requested schools. Students will have the opportunity to prepare, learn test techniques and take practice tests.
