typical day at girls prep schools of New Leaf Academy

At New Leaf Academy girls boarding schools the academic year is divided into four quarters, beginning in September and ending in June. During one week breaks between quarters, students and staff participate in field trips, special activities, and group seminars. In the summer students continue to learn informally themselves through alternative activities such as producing and staging plays, maneuvering through a ropes course, hiking, rafting, bicycling, camping, windsurfing or water-skiing.School coursework during the summer focuses on learning skills that will carry through to the next year. In past summers and during breaks we have traveled both nationally and internationally, including trips to Washington, D.C. for a living civics lesson.

Students at our girls private school thrive in a structured environment with continual supervision with a staff to student ratio of 6:5.
